Anne Robson Trust

We exist so that people don't have to spend the last days of their life alone.

Thousands of patients in hospital receive no visitors before they die.

We help hospitals set up teams of volunteer visitors, to read to patients, play their favourite song one last time, or simply hold their hand.

£10 could enable two patients to receive companionship visits, so their final days are not spent alone.

Men in Sheds Beverley

Beverley Men in Sheds was set up in 2019 to help men and women who were suffering from loneliness and isolation in the local community.

We have provided a place where people can come to make new friends, chat, have tea, coffee and biscuits, play board-games and cards, do model making, take on furniture repair and renovation and undertake many types of woodworking.

We offer training in the use of tools and machinery, so that they can be used properly and safely.

SYA

SYA supports over 4,500 young people through activities such as youth clubs, mental health projects, clubs for LGBTQI+ and SEND children.

SYA believes young people should have access to quality, affordable and appropriate youth provisions and want young people to feel valued, be seen and heard.

SYA works closely with schools and voluntary organisations to ensure young people have someone to talk to who is trained to listen.
