Conversation Club Leeds

Conversation Club is a small volunteer-run charity in Leeds; offering friendship to adult asylum seekers and refugees, and their children.

We meet twice weekly and help them to make friends, practise speaking English, navigate the complexities of the UK system and provide social interaction, activities and events involving the local community.

Our main costs are bus fares and other ways to help our guests access communications and relevant organisations.

We offer a small, but life-changing experience.

Refugees talking around tables

RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford

We are a local, self-funded animal charity & part of an independent network of RSPCA Branches.

We take in hundreds of unwanted or mistreated animals every year & give them a better life through rehabilitation, treatment, training & care; before finding them loving forever homes.

We rely on the generosity of our supporters to help fund our work & without this, we simply would not be able to change these animals' lives for the better.

Baby Basics UK

Baby Basics works across the UK with midwives, health visitors and other professionals to provide essential baby and toddler items for vulnerable families.

Those we support may have may have fled domestic abuse, be seeking asylum, be refugees, or in economic poverty.

We currently have 57 centres across the UK, but we need more. The support you give will help us to establish more centres and help more vulnerable families in need.
