Wirral Mind

Wirral Mind is a local, independent mental health charity established in 1967 to help people in our community achieve better mental health.

Our aim is to normalise conversations around mental health, tackle stigma and discrimination, raise awareness, promote understanding, and support our community to live mentally healthier lives.

£100 would enable us to fund three counselling sessions for someone experiencing poor mental health.

Talk ED

Talk ED provides an essential support service for people struggling with eating disorders, and their loved ones in the UK.

Our services include 1:2 support calls, peer support groups, befriending and interactive workshops; delivered by our small team of dedicated staff and volunteers with lived experience of eating disorder recovery.

Waiting lists for NHS eating disorder services have trebled since 2020. Our support is regularly described as a lifeline by those who have nowhere else to turn.
