Life Connections is a Leeds charity that delivers the Spear Programme. This helps disadvantaged young people (aged 16-24) into work or education.
We equip them with confidence, motivation and the vital skills they need to succeed in long-term employment. The programme uses coaching to help overcome challenging attitudes and behaviours; provides practical training in writing a good CV and interviews; and provides a year of support to help them find and succeed in work. 75% of Spear Trainees get into work or education, and are still there a year later.
